The sale of high volumes of seasonal merchandise is commercially vital to BHS and hence the opportunity to create a distinct ‘shop in shop’ was identified. Traditionally, the product had been promoted on existing store equipment, but our brief was to create an ‘invisible’ fixture display that established the product as the hero. The solution was a simple, but highly flexible component-based merchandising system. The system was designed, developed, manufactured, delivered and installed into over 100 BHS stores across the UK. The equipment can be deconstructed and stored locally in each store ready for use the following year.
