Traditionally, Tesco clothing has been sold from a fixture system derived from grocery retailing. Although it has been developed over the years, the inherent limitations were such that a fundamental rethink was required. The brief was to start from scratch and create an environment that would inspire customers to buy. Whilst maintaining the same level of stock density, our concept needed to clearly define Womenswear, Menswear & Childrenswear and create an interesting and enjoyable shopping experience. The concept is currently on trial in Hull and Blackpool.
